About Northside's Past.....
....And Our Future
From its beginning in 1886, Northside Presbyterian Church has been an integral part of North Chattanooga. The familiar Gothic, cream-colored buildings have crowned Mississippi Avenue hill since 1910. Two additions and several renovations adapted the original buildings to the changing needs of our members. Our Northside Learning Center has been giving special care to children since 1976.
Historically, we have sought Christ's will for the church as set forth in Scripture. Northside is dedicated to the reformed tradition and the Presbyterian form of government. All the while, we are open to new ways in which God's spirit is moving among us. We appreciate the rich diversity of our members.
